Sunrui is a consulting firm specializing in designing and engineering contracting of seawater desalination projects, mostly using the reverse osmosis (RO) treatment technology. It has obtained several domestic and international projects, such as Indonesia Awar-awar Power Plant, Sanmen Nuclear Power Station and Batangas Combine Cylce Power Plant.
Seawater desalination is desalting the seawater and turning it to fresh water, for industrial consumption and portable water. Nowadays, the main technologies of desalination are distillation, refrigeration and RO. Sunrui has mainly used the RO technology before and is developing the muti-effect distillation (MED) technology and products to expand the industry field.
